001Last weekend, headed up to the Mt. Rose trailhead to hike up to Galena Falls. From the beginning of the trail you can see Lake Tahoe through the clouds and Tahoe Meadow just below in gold. The gold tones of Fall are just starting to peep in the mountains.

002Recently went backpacking for 4 days in the Tahoe Basin area. This was the 1st day we were out. We started at the trail-head Big Meadow near HWY 89 at 6:30 in the morning.

054-2 I’ll be a Trail Angel for the Tahoe Rim Trail Association in the Fall. I decided to revisit some of my photos from my Thru-Hike in 2011. It was 165+ miles in 2 weeks and at the end of each day, there was a vista with a great view!
