A Rocky Trail
We left Heather Lake and followed along the rocky trail to the outlet.
Lake Aloha II
Lake Aloha is over 2 miles long and at every turn, there was another great view of the lake and its surroundings.
Lake Aloha
In the Tahoe Basin, I think that Lake Aloha is one of my favorites. It’s high in elevation (so fewer crowds) and has an assortment of islands within it. The water is an incredible shade of blue. Can’t wait to go back and spend more time exploring the area.
Rocky Shores
Just outside of Santa Cruz, CA the clear blue ocean crashing against these rocky shores.
Colorful Rock Formations
On a dusty road near Monitor Pass I found this colorful outcrop of rock formations.
Shaped by the Tides
About an hour South of San Francisco, I found this beach. Over time the tides have made these pock marks in the rocks.
Out of the Granite
Went exploring around Meyers (near South Lake Tahoe) and these tree limbs were protruding from the granite.
