Sepia – D-D Barn
I drive by this barn a few times a month when I head up to the Gold Country. I’ve taken photos of this barn a few times but in full color is was lacking something. Using the Sepia tone gave it the weathered look I was looking for.
Welcome to Canterbury
Had the pleasure of attending the Renner Winery Annual Bonfire and BBQ a few weekends ago. This is the view of the vineyards that ‘Doc Renner’ calls “Canterbury” because it reminds him of New Zealand.
That’s a BIG Dogwood
In our hunt for Spring flowers, we found this Dogwood tree in bloom. The blossoms were huge!
Oak In The Distance
Driving home, I took a little used road to get to the highway. I spotted this oak in the distance and thought it would make a cool shot.
Wild Iris By The Water
Last weekend, drove all over the place looking for spring flowers in bloom. Some fields had already bloomed out. Another spot we searched will most likely bloom this week. Driving back to the house, we spotted all these wild yellow irises by the water. It was only 15 minutes from the house.
Flight of the Hummingbird
I took me awhile but I finally caught this little guy coming in for a meal.
Perched On An Aspen
There are hummingbirds flying around the yard and I have been trying to capture them (on camera). They have been too fast or I’m just too impatience. This little guy needed a rest and posed on an aspen branch.
