001I drive by this barn a few times a month when I head up to the Gold Country. I’ve taken photos of this barn a few times but in full color is was lacking something. Using the Sepia tone gave it the weathered look I was looking for.

Had the pleasure of attending the Renner Winery Annual Bonfire and BBQ a few weekends ago. This is the view of the vineyards that ‘Doc Renner’ calls “Canterbury” because it reminds him of New Zealand.

Wild Iris By The Water

002Last weekend, drove all over the place looking for spring flowers in bloom. Some fields had already bloomed out. Another spot we searched will most likely bloom this week. Driving back to the house, we spotted all these wild yellow irises by the water. It was only 15 minutes from the house.

079There are hummingbirds flying around the yard and I have been trying to capture them (on camera). They have been too fast or I’m just too impatience. This little guy needed a rest and posed on an aspen branch.
