Echo Lake

105Day 2 – After hiking about 8 miles, we ended up at Echo Lake Chalet. You can pay for a ferry to take you across the lake ($12.00 per person) it cuts off about 2 additional miles. The boat cuts across and then passes through this small channel. There are several cabins that dot the lake and some has been around for 3 generations. After docking it was another 2 miles to our next campsite. This is Echo Lake as seen from the trail to Tamarack Lake.
