Welcome to Canterbury
Had the pleasure of attending the Renner Winery Annual Bonfire and BBQ a few weekends ago. This is the view of the vineyards that ‘Doc Renner’ calls “Canterbury” because it reminds him of New Zealand.
Fallen
I took this shot last Fall at Crater of the Moon in Idaho. This fallen tree had probably stood for a long time. It probably was anchored for another few years before it finally toppled. But, even after it fell it made for a good shot.
Mist in the Tide Pool
I took this photo a few weeks back along the coast. I used the neutral destiny filter and it created the illusion of mist in the tide pool. I really like this filter
Thorny Branch
Not sure why but I thought that this thorny berry branch was an interesting contrast against the granite boulder.
That’s a BIG Dogwood
In our hunt for Spring flowers, we found this Dogwood tree in bloom. The blossoms were huge!
Oak In The Distance
Driving home, I took a little used road to get to the highway. I spotted this oak in the distance and thought it would make a cool shot.
Wild Iris By The Water
Last weekend, drove all over the place looking for spring flowers in bloom. Some fields had already bloomed out. Another spot we searched will most likely bloom this week. Driving back to the house, we spotted all these wild yellow irises by the water. It was only 15 minutes from the house.
